Internetic Global Odysseys(Dimitris and Matt)

Dimitris was born and spent his childhood in the Netherlands, where his parents had emigrated a few years before. He spent adolescence in Nea Orestiada, the east-northernmost town of Greece.Dimitris couldn't resist the challenge of his dream, which is also a secret wish for most people travel round the world. In his mid 30's he decided to make it come true.He sold off his belongings (not that many, anyway). He quit his job, grabbed his backpack, a digital camera, a compass and set off for his own Odyssey. He set out for his journey on 1th April 2006 and that will endure for 3 years. In the first period (April 2006- September 2006) the trip will include all South American countries, up to the Colombian boarders with Panama. The first stop will be Buenos Aires, but basically the trip around the world will begin from Patagonia. Tierra del Fuego. The edge of the world. In the second period (October 2006-March 2007) the trip will include Central America, the USA, Canada, which will be the first stop of this second phase of the trip (the Odyssey).Dimitris is writing Reports about the places he discovers. Here you can read about the start, Argentina,Chile, Uruguay,Brazil,Paraguay.http://www.godimitris.gr/))))) Photogallery

Matt is a 29-year-old deadbeat from Connecticut who used to think that all he ever wanted to do in life was make and play videogames. He achieved this goal pretty early and enjoyed it for a while, but eventually realized there might be other stuff he was missing out on. In February of 2003, he quit his job in Brisbane, Australia and used the money he'd saved to wander around the planet until it ran out. He made this site so he could keep his family and friends updated about where he is.A few months into his trip, a travel buddy gave Matt the idea of dancing everywhere he went and recording it on his camera. This turned out to be a very good idea. Now Matt is quasi-famous as "That guy who dances on the internet. No, not that guy. The other one. No, not him either. I'll send you the link. It's funny."http://www.wherethehellismatt.com/

Very interesting description of these two persons' activity. Are you really doing journalism?
