(( The People's Voice(wiki) (called in Hebrew המפקד הלאומי, literally The National Census) is an Israeli-Palestinian civil initiative dedicated to advancing the process of achieving peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Co-founders israeli Ami Ayalon and palestinian Sari Nusseibeh signed the initiative on 27 July 2002, and officially launched it at a press conference held in Tel-Aviv on 25 June 2003))

The key proposals of the initiative are:

1. Two states for two nations.
2. Permanent borders based on the June 4, 1967 lines (with the possibility of equitable exchanges of territory for reasons of security, demography or territorial integrity).
3. Jerusalem is to be an open city and the capital of both states. Arab neighbourhoods will be under Palestinian sovereignty, Jewish neighbourhoods under Israel. There will be no political sovereignty over the Temple Mount / Haram al Sherif.
4. Palestinian refugees will be allowed to return to the territories of the Palestinian state only, Jews to the territories of Israel. An international fund will be established for the compensation and rehabilitation of Palestinian refugees.
5. The Palestinian state will be demilitarised.
6. Upon implementation of the Statement of Principles, when a peace accord is signed, the claims of both sides shall terminate and conflict end.

The birth of the Greek-Israeli band

It all began 7 years ago when Tomer Katz went on an ordinary vacation in Greece, to relax, to forget his troubles in Israel and to seek a new path in life. It didn't take long until he discovered Rebetiko music (Greek blues) and was immediately captivated by it...........Recently, the band was featured in a Greek TV show(World musicians/Leonidas Antonopoulos) about the love for Greek music in Israel and their appearance attracted much attention, both in Greece and in Israel. One of the band's most exciting experiences was their meeting and subsequent collaboration with the famous Greek poet and journalist Manolis Rasoulis, who came to hear them and dedicated a song to them.

Although the band has begun to perform on bigger stages, all of its members know that no matter how big the stage, it can never compare to the intimacy and unique atmosphere of the Ha'usha club.

Amir Benayoun is a young sephardic-israeli singer.Yehuda Poliker was born in Haifa, Israel 1950),is an Israeli musician of Greek ancestry. His music combines rock with Greek and other Mediterranean musical styles. He plays guitar, bouzouki, and baglama. He was a member of the popular 1980s Israeli rock group Benzeen (also spelled Benzin).

Poliker's father, Zoko, was a Holocaust survivor from Salonica, Greece. His story is told in the 1988 film Because of That War (Biglal Hamilhamah Hahi) which features music by Yehuda Poliker.
